Happy 6th Birthday Grace

We had a nice little family celebration for Grace and Grandpa (birthday on July 19th) on July 20th. Grace also got to celebrate with her dad, and her baby brother Asher (Jared and Katrina's son), who was born on July 21st of last year. So many birthdays in July!

My bundle of joy, humor, love, and endless curiosity. In some ways it is so difficult for me to believe you are six. On the other hand, you have completed each phase up until now perfectly, and have most certainly earned the right to be six. It isn't as if you skipped anything important over the past 84 months. And yet, I remember the beautiful rain storm that accompanied your birth as if it were a moment ago.


Thank you for lifting my spirits with your compliments, your smile, your belly laugh, your dancing, your bouncing, and your sheer happiness about what life gives you. You certainly give life as much back, if not more! First grade is going to be so much fun for you - I can't wait to see how much you grow this next year!

I love you, and I like you too - of course.
