How Sweet It Is . . .

Steamroller Blues

So I can't contain my excitement!! I was feeling bummed out yesterday that I wouldn't be able to afford seeing James Taylor and his Band of Legends in concert, and then Spencer surprised me with the news that we would be going. And not only that, but as V.I.P. guests. Apparently his parents had won a set of V.I.P. tickets at a fundraiser auction, and somehow we ended up getting to go with them. We had a lovely dinner and our own "suite", close enough to see that J.T. had stripes on his shirt. He had everyone crackin' up with his stories, and he played all the favorites. Shed a Little Light, Up on the Roof, Carolina in my Mind, and Mexico, just to name of few. And the Encore lasted over 15 minutes! It really set a great tone for the rest of the week. Nothing like good old J.T.

These photos of James, by the way, are taken by someone who sat on the sixth row. Pretty incredible!

and check out these old J.T. videos on YouTube!
