At the dinner table one night as Grace was stuffing Cantaloupe into her mouth, I said: "Olivia and Isaac, you have a little piglet for a sister". Grace responded, "I'm not a piglet . . . I'm a dancelet!" Absolutely the truth - a dancelet who eats like the food might suddenly vanish at any given moment. It inspires me to keep up on food storage.
Don't you love when you are the only one on the swing ride at Liberty Park?
This is the very best way to eat tomatoes. Especially the ones from Uncle Ben's garden.
I haven't dared sit in this hammock, fearing a painful crash. How I have missed out on hours of pure satisfaction. These girls have yet to break the blue mesh miracle, and look how much they love each other . . .
We spent our Labor Day weekend up at the Cabin in Alta. It was chilly, but the perfect way to spend time together in one of our favorite places. Grandma and Grandpa were there too, but we didn't catch them on camera.

This is what I love about photography. I can capture numberless perfect moments and relive them whenever I need a little something to get me to the next point. A fix of perfection, a preserved moment. I frequently hear the phrase "Don't live in the past", but truthfully it's the past that sometimes helps me in the present and gives me vision for the future. It's not dwelling there, just taking little vacations there. Each of the moments in these photos represents something I love. And that love is timeless.

mares, the hammock is very stable--try it out because you're missing out tons.
Grace looks like a great dancer--what a cute little dancelet. I love it.
Fabulous pics by the way.
