"What if Mommy turned into a Pig?" (and some other questions)

So maybe not every day, but at least once a week or so, we include a "question of the day" in our going to bed routine (years ago named "read-sing-pray"). So I thought it would be fun to record some of the questions/answers in our blog, just in case the notebook gets lost. It will also motivate me to do this more often because it is really quite fun, especially when the kids think of the questions. Here are some past favorites (the answers are verbatim):

March 16, 2008: What's the best thing you've ever done?
Olivia - get baptized
Isaac - drawing
Grace - making Valentimes

March 18, 2008: If you could write a book about anything, what would it be?
Isaac - a basket
Olivia - rainbows and all the nice things
Grace - I love myself!

April 10, 2008: What do you like about each other?
Olivia - Isaac: he's really funny and he likes most things that I do. Grace: she's little so I can pretend she's a baby (this tendency for all of us to treat Grace like a baby has caused some problems that have taken major proactive measures to repair!)
Isaac - Olivia: she plays with me. Grace: she steals my toys and gives them back.
Grace - Olivia: she's smart and that she could spell things. Isaac: that he's funny and that he likes me and he loves me.

April 11, 2008: Where do you want to go on vacation?
Olivia - Hawaii
Isaac - South America
Grace - Wendy's

What will heaven look like?
Olivia - when we go grocery shopping we'd buy lots of blessings. We'd also have little homes and they'd be right in the middle of the clouds.
Grace - Jesus, God - there will be donkeys there, trees . . . I think robots won't be there.
Isaac - There is no clouds. My toys will be there. There will be lambs there and robots.

April 14, 2008: What car will you have when you grow up?
Olivia - a convertible
Isaac - a monster truck
Grace - a pink car with a violet red heart on it

If you could do anything to change the world, what would it be?
Olivia - plant lots of trees and keep the earth clean
Isaac - help feed the poor people
Grace - put hearts everywhere

April 19, 2008: If you could be King/Queen for the day, what would you do?
Olivia - I would say to the village "always do good deeds".
Isaac - I would sit in my throne
Grace - I would sit in mine and Olivia's throne

What is the perfect age and why?
Olivia - 16, because you get to drive a car, and because it is an even # - they're the best. And 16 + 16 = 32, which is my mom's age (I had just turned 33, but 32 sounded good to me!).
Isaac - 20, because that's my favorite number. You won't be too old, you won't be too young.
Grace - 3, because we had Valentine's Day and I was 3 that time.

October 5, 2008: What is your favorite color and why?
Olivia - white, because it is the color of an angel
Isaac - pink, because I like piggies, and mud too
Grace - blue, because it reminds me about swimming

November 24, 2008: What am I grateful for?
Grace - my family, my mommy, for the floor so we don't fall, my bed so I don't have to sleep on the floor and have bugs crawl on me. Thanksgiving, my body because I would be in heaven if I didn't have it. water.
Isaac - Jesus, me, the floor 'cause then we would be in dirt, a door (for privacy), and a window with blinds.
Olivia - paper, shoelaces, Heavenly Father, family

November 29, 2008: What are your favorite books?
Isaac - any of the "Black Lagoon" books
Olivia - Nancy Drew books
Grace - Good Night Moon

December 4, 2008: What if mommy turned into a pig?
Olivia - I would call Grandma and tell her that her daughter has turned into a pig.
Isaac - I would get on it and ride it.
Grace - I would hug the pig and then make her turn back into you [mommy] with love.
